Enjoy a leisurely walk along the River Ness which leads to the tranquillity of the Ness Islands, tropical Botanical Gardens and Caledonian Canal. From the Caledonian Canal, you can enjoy the wildlife and nature up close before a cruise onto the waters of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Inverness City Centre has an abundance of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Some of my personal favourite restaurants are The Mustard Seed for the ambience, Urquharts for traditional Home cooked food, The Kitchen for the stunning views of the River Ness and finally The Rajah for authentic Indian Cuisine.
